ANNUAL PHYSICAL EXAM - Medicare/Medicaid & most Private Insurance pay 100% of cost.
CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE SCREEN - Recommended once per year - Medicare/Medicaid is Covered 100% - most of the Managed Care Companies cover the cost as well.
CERVICAL, VAGINAL, AND BREAST CANCER SCREENING - Every year for high risk patients, every 24 months for all women. Cervical and Vaginal every year if you are child bearing age.
BONE MASS MEASUREMENT (Bone Density) - Recommended every 24 months based on your healthcare professional's recommendation.
COLORECTAL CANCER SCREEN- People 50 years of age or older - Every 24 months if you are at high risk - some screens, such as fecal occult blood test recommended every year. Other tests recommended range from 4 years to 10 years. Talk with your Bethesda health professional.
ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM SCREENING - If you have a family history or you are a man 65 to 75 years of age and have smoked at least 100 cigarettes in your lifetime - talk with your Bethesda health professional.
DEPRESSION SCREENING - Recommended once per year.
FLU SHOT - Recommended every year.
PNEUMOCOCCAL SHOT - Most people only need one per lifetime. Talk with your Bethesda healthprofessional.
